Samantha M. (Benesh) Vondrak, PsyD, ABPP (forensic)

Dr. Vondrak earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Richmond and holds a Doctorate in Psychology from The George Washington University.  While in graduate school, she was commissioned into the US Army and began her career as a military psychologist at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC.  During her eleven years in the Army, Dr. Vondrak completed a two-year fellowship in forensic psychology at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, which is currently the only post-doctoral forensic psychology program to be accredited by the American Psychological Association. In 2014, Dr. Vondrak achieved board-certification in forensic psychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology.

Dr. Vondrak has over 15 years of experience practicing as a clinical and forensic psychologist and is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. She has conducted hundreds of psychological evaluations in forensic and civil settings and regularly participates in court proceedings through expert consultation and expert witness testimony. Although she specializes is military psychology, she supports both civilian jurisdictions and military courts-martial through provision of forensic psychological services.

 

Dr. Vondrak's professional areas of interest include military psychology, false confession and police interrogation, malingering, violence risk assessment, mental state evaluations (e.g., insanity, diminished capacity), competency evaluations (e.g., stand trial, waive Miranda rights), domestic violence, PTSD and memory impairment due to intoxication.

Jennifer S. Yeaw, PsyD, ABPP (forensic)

​

Dr. Yeaw is a board certified forensic psychologist with over 15 years of experience in military behavioral health and is licensed to practice in Colorado and Texas. She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from University of Louisiana Lafayette and her Doctorate in Psychology from Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology. 

 

Formerly of the Center for Forensic Behavioral Sciences, at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Dr. Yeaw is a leader in military forensic psychology. She has contributed to over 100 courts-martial as a consultant or an evaluator, including trials for capital murder, military specific offenses, terrorism, and sexual assault. Dr. Yeaw has supervised forensic psychology and psychiatry fellows and advised other psychiatrists and psychologists regarding matters pertaining to military behavioral health law.

Dr. Yeaw's professional interests include forensic assessment, personality assessment, clinical and forensic supervision, sexual assault litigation, military psychology, PTSD, threat assessment, high-stakes personnel selection, and fitness for duty evaluations.
